Stayed in possibly the smallest hotel room ever last night while working down in London.
It was so damn small I honestly thought I'd inadvertently walked into a CERN physics experiment to find out if a human can occupy the same coordinates in time and space as an MFI chest of drawers.
I can conclude, without the aid of the large hadron collider, that the answer is f%#&ing no!!
On a plus side the bed was so close to the toilet pan that all I had to do to take a shit was hang my arse over the side of the bed.
Not sure the manager is going to be too chuffed with me using the duvet as toilet paper though.

Ghost
Was staying at the Manchester Palace yesterday night which is an old Victorian and incredibly picturesque hotel.
Whilst making my way back to my room I spotted a possible shot of one of deserted and rather eerie corridors in the hotel which are tiled from top to bottom with stunning terracotta.
The door plaque at the end of the corridor was glinting rather brightly and was drawing my vision towards it. Anyway I took my camera and took a few shots but was a bit annoyed that I didn't have my tripod as the light was to low to get a good exposure and I didn't want to use flash and the pictures looked garbage and under-exposed on the image preview.
It wasn't until I got back home tonight and loaded the original into Adobe Lightroom and beefed up the exposure that I noticed something rather chilling.....

The photograph below is the original before I used Lightroom to increase the exposure..

Now that your eyes have a reference its easier to spot on the original that there is "something" there at the end of the corridor.
I've checked the shots I took within a few seconds either side of this one and nothing other than an empty corridor can be seen.

Hotel toilet rolls

After a great deal of contemplation I have managed to compile a shortlist of the most viable reasons for carrying out this act of origami.
- To ensure that visitors unfamiliar with the concept of bog rolls know to pull the paper downwards, as indicated by the handy arrow.
- To assist in the cleaning of the butt crack, the pointy shape allowing deeper cleaning of those hard-to-get-at crevices.
- For the maids to have fun to see what guests are sad enough to put the fold back in after undertaking the act of removing any dangleberries.
